How long should jeans be?

The length of your jeans is directly correlated to your inseam length. We recommend finding some measuring tape (or tailor’s tape, to be precise) and measuring from the start of your crotch all the way down to your ankle to get a sense of your inseam. It’s usually easiest to measure the inseam on a pair of pants you already own and like the length of, but you can also measure it on yourself. Just make sure you stand up straight and have a long enough ruler or measuring tape!

The bottom of your jeans should end right at your ankle or where the top of your shoe meets your foot. You want to avoid jeans that are “stacking,” which means the bottom fabric of your jeans will start piling on top of itself.
