How should shorts fit?
The fit of your shorts mainly depends on the type of shorts you’re wearing. Athletic shorts will fit differently than chino shorts and vice versa. There are some general guidelines we recommend for all shorts. First, shorts should fit snugly, but not too tight. You don’t want your shorts to look like compression shorts, but at the same time you don’t want them to look like vintage baggy basketball shorts either. Second, they should fit your waist snug enough to let you wear them without a belt.
Regardless of the type of shorts, none look good if they’re falling down constantly. Lastly, depending on the occasion, we recommend your shorts to end right around your knee or slightly above your knee cap. This is more of a personal preference, but it generally looks cleaner.
