Top Coat

I returned the item for two main reasons- it was tight in the arms (and I don’t have large/muscular arms) and the pockets in the front are fake, providing nowhere to put my gloves or any other winter necessities. Overall, the weight of the coat was nice and warm, and the quality of the coat was well constructed, too. Being 5’6”, I also felt the length of the coat was ideal, sitting right at the hips and wrist without looking oversized. Spending almost $300 on this coat though, it was not worth the money to keep and not worth further investment to get custom tailored when it was supposed to be a perfect fit from the beginning. I ordered a medium, but see no reason to order a large coat because I feel it would be too large/ill-fitting, and the pockets would still be fake. For this price and for an item I expected to wear for years, if not decades, asking for arm measurements would have been nice, and please give us real pockets!!! Next best options are a similar oversized coat from a big box retailer or $500+ from a luxury brand, neither of which accommodate shorter men.
