Straight Fit Chino

The Straight Fit Stretch Chino in Navy is exactly what I was looking for. Not too loose and not a tight slim fit. They have a nice amount of room everywhere and are easy to move around in. I like the dark navy color and it matches the website pictures. The cotton material is incredibly soft and comfortable and has just the right amount of stretch. The quality is worth the price in my opinion. The soft cotton material, the fit, the stitching, the button and zipper, are all better than what I've found anywhere else. I'm 5'4" and the website suggested a 26" length. The 26" length was too short for my liking and found the 27" is perfect for me. And the length listed is exactly the length they are. I used a fabric tape measure to check the length, and they are spot on. I like them so much I bought one in each color.

Okay, so I've been buying clothes from not only Ash & Erie, but all the competitors that make clothing for short guys. I won't mention any names, but we all know who they are! I've also been buying from the days Ash & Erie was still Ash & Anvil! Anyways, I say that so ya'll know I'm a serial short guy clothing shopper. That begin said, I've been disappointed my fair share of times, and impressed a few times. I wasn't sure what to expect with these pants and took a chance as I needed some Khaki's for an event.

These fit and look perfect. Really great high quality fabric. Not too stiff, not too loose, just right. Not too soft, not too rough, just right. To too heavy, not too light, just right. This is the JUST RIGHT pants!

When it comes to the "fit", these are not too skinny/slim. They aren't baggy either like today's gen z style. They are exactly as advertised. Straight fit, however, since these are fitted better than typical off the rack pants, they do have a "slimmer" profile in general. As someone who wanted something less slim, these were perfect. If they were slightly baggier these would work too. Overall, these won't make you look shorter, that's for sure. The proportions are great.

Also, I have shorter legs and longer torso, and I had no problem with these pants. 26 inch inseam is the "exact fit" for me, but I realized it's better to size up one, so I got the 27 inch inseam, and honestly, that's way better. It gives you some room in case the pants ever shrink in the…
