Fjord Parka

I live and ski in New England. The fit of this parka is the best I’ve ever had of a ski jacket, and I’ve had a bunch from the big name brands. It has a goggles pocket on the outside, a phone pocket on the inside, and the hood fits over a helmet. Frankly, this is pretty surprising given that the description says nothing about snow sports. The only technical features of a ski jacket it is missing are a pass pocket on the arm, a powder skirt, and armpit zippers….but I only really miss the armpit zippers, given how obscenely warm this parka is. It is so warm that I skied most days with only a base layer underneath and with only a T-shirt underneath on warmer (in the 30s F) days. Honestly, it was a bit too warm. Walking my dog (very slowly, she’s elderly) in 10-20 F weather with wind, I still only needed a long sleeve shirt underneath. So if you want a really really really warm parka you can wear in the bitter cold like that of New England winter and don’t mind sweating when skiing (it doesn’t have ideal breathability), this Parka will do the trick. If you live and/or ski in a Mid-Atlantic state (with the exception of upstate NY) or warmer, this will probably be too warm for you, unless you tend to be more cold than the average person.

The jacket arrived in a timely manner despite being ordered before Thanksgiving. The fit was perfect and is such a quality jacket as well. This was our first order. I had an error when declining one of the add ons. Fortunately, customer service was top notch and they fixed the error.

Based on this purchase alone, we plan to be repeat customers. Very satisfied!

This was my first time shoppiing from Ash & Erie. I stumbled accross them online. My son works outside at times, he needed a new, warm jacket to wear during the harsh Wisconsin winters. I ordered this for him. It fits well, sleeves are not too long, looks good on, and most importantly, has kept him warm. The jacket arrived in the time frame expected. No problems whatsoever.
