I love this jacket, fabric and fit are top notch. As with everybody buying from this brand, fit was a concern. I’m 5’5” 165lbs, probably a 40 short suit jacket. The length and drape is perfect, but I’m at the upper limit in the shoulders in a medium.

I've waited far too long for clothing that fits!
Like many out there, this old dude has waited far too long for cool looking, nice fitting, comfortable clothing. I spent too much of my life paying good money for clothing tailored for men taller than me, only to pay again to have them tailored to fit me. Then along comes Ash & Erie! I have the Chore Jacket in both Olive and Blue, and I couldn't be happier. I can wear them with jeans and a tee or a collared oxford cloth button down and a pair of chinos, and I'm a cool, comfortable, happy old dude!

Relaxed fit
The material has a nice weight, I like the construction of the collar and pockets, and the grey color looks good. However I wish the cut was slimmer. I’m usually size 38/48, and the M fits very well in the shoulders. Easily layers over a sweater but also works over a shirt. However the cut around the middle and below is quite wide for my preferences. The end effect is somewhat bottom heavy and that’s not what I was hoping for.
