How do I measure my pants inseam?

While most men know their waist size, many do not know their true inseam length. Inseam is hard to measure based on just height.

To measure your inseam, take your favorite pair of pants and lay them flat. Measure from the crotch seam of the pants all the way down the inside seam to the leg opening. You should follow the curve of your pants, not make a straight line, from the crotch seam to the leg opening. That should be your true inseam measurement.

However, this is not a perfect method, since most traditional brands only offer inseams 30"+. Most short men are wearing jeans that are too long for them. See how jeans should fit short men here. At Ash & Erie, we offer inseams ranging from 25"-29".

We know how tough it is to find the right fit online, especially when buying from a new brand. That's why we offer free exchanges and returns for US-based customers so it's essentially risk-free to try us out! We’re excited for you to try our pants for short men and have a feeling you'll love them!
